CFAA Fire Alarm Technician Registration Renewal


Please note when your CFAA Fire Alarm Technician status will be expiring.
The expiry date is shown on your CFAA Fire Alarm Technician Photo ID Badge.

In order to remain a Registered CFAA Fire Alarm Technician in good standing you are required to complete the renewal process along with your picture and payment to the CFAA..


As of January 1, 2017 all renewing Registered CFAA Fire Alarm Technicians will need to submit a CFAA Continuing Education Submittal Form proving eight (8) required Continuing Education Credits. Please see Continuing Education Requirements for more information.

As an existing CFAA Fire Alarm Technician, you are already registered on the website. Please  Do Not re-register.

To renew your registration, please log in at the top right of the screen.
Once logged in, your account information menu will appear at the left side of the screen.
Select 'Renewal'. under 'Technician Status/Update'


1.    Login at the top right corner of the screen using your email address as your “user id” and password. If you have not previously set up a password, then select  “forgot password”. 
2.    A temporary password will be sent to you via email. 
3.    Once logged in to your account, first, update your profile and upload a new photo (if so desire).
4.    Click on “renewal” on the left side of the page to renew your registration using your credit card on our secure site.
5.    A receipt will be emailed to you immediately upon completing the transaction and a new updated photo id card and a copy of the said receipt will be mailed to you via Canada Post.
