ONTARIO TECHNICIANS - Commencing August 1st, 2010, ALL
Ontario-based, CFAA-Registered Technicians will be required to provide evidence
that they have successfully completed both the Codes and Standards Update
(CSU) Course as well as the related Recertification Exam before
being eligible to renew their Technician Registration with the Canadian Fire
Alarm Association.

Important Notice. Effective June 2, 2009,
the 2006 Ontario Building Code has been amended to include references to new
editions of various Standards listed in OBC Table 1.3.1.2. of Division B.
Many of the referenced Standards have an impact on the
Fire Protection industry as a whole, including Fire Alarm & Sprinkler. They
are NFPA #13, 13D, 13R, 14, 20, 24, 96 & CAN/ULC-S524.
